Operations Manager

We are recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our Operations team on rotating shifts 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm working 5 out of 7 days

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operational team to control and positively impact agreed operational KPI targets, esnure all activities are planned within budget parameters and skilfully motivate a team of supervisors, team leaders and colleagues to achieve business goals. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyse productivity data, implement proactive solutions and drive continuous improvement using appropropriate methodologies.
• Lead daily operational reviews, forecast resource needs and ensure peak readines planning.
• Foster a high performance culture through clear communication, performance management and talent development.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental and security regulations while maintaining company standards. 

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a high volume warehouse environment
• Extensive people management experience
• Experience implementing recognised Continuous Improvement strategies to support a lean methodology approach with proven capability of process improvement
• Sound understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and regulations
