Nights Supervisor

We are recruiting for a Supervisor to join our Operations team on nights - 10pm to 6am.

The Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of market-leading quality, cost and delivery metrics as well as ensurin that optimum productivity and performance are achieved through an in-depth knowledge and application of Operational Excellence, Colleague Engagement and Growth & Development strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all activities are planned within budget parameters and that non-value add activity is challenged and minimised
• Engage employees using day-to-day communications, team briefs (including comm cells), 1-2-1 reviews and appraisals
• Utilise recognised problem solving and corrective action techniques where operational challenges are experienced to tangibly demonstrate improvement and resolution
• Ensure standard work model is maintained at all times and that E-2-E process maps, Standard Operating Procedures and relevant quality, cost and delivery metrics are up to date

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in harnessing diverse skillsets within a high-volume distribution/production environment
• Extensive people management experience
• Experience implementing recognised Continuous Improvement strategies to support a lean methodology approach with proven capability of process improvement
• Sound understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and regulations
