We are recruiting for a Credit Risk Manager to join our Exertis Hammer team, taking the focus of credit assessment and risk, including management of the account set-up process and leading ongoing credit limit discussions.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within credit assessment and strong commercial understanding.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Manage all new credit applications from approval to agreeing credit limit with support from the Credit Control team

  • Manage annual account refresh process

  • Be the first point of contact for all queries from our Sales Team regarding credit limits and new opportunities for existing and new customers

  • Prepare credit packs for Finance Manager and Finance Director where further approval is needed

  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct

Role Requirements

  • Experience within a credit assessment/risk role

  • Strong commercial understanding and able to analyse the financial accounts of companies in order to give recommendations

  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure that communications and relations are effective
