The Junior Product Manager is a step into the Commercial department supporting our Vendors and Sales teams. The purpose of the role is to support the commercial function supporting the Product Managers, Business Manager and Commercial Director.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with all key vendors from within the BU.
  • Support the commercial team with the day-to-day running within the BU.
  • Support the product specialists with the sales teams to ensure they are up to date on pricing, deals and new products.
  • Support the PM’s to plan, prioritise and coordinate call out days and promotions to drive sales floor activity in conjunction with the BM and sales managers
  • Identify areas for development within the sales teams to improve product knowledge or sales ability of the products in their remit.
  • Ensure all internal sales tools are updated on a regular basis and fit for purpose
  • Support the BM / PM team to manage stock and aged stock. Including but not limited to working with purchasing to place PO’s to cover run rate.
  • Demonstrate expert product knowledge and keep up to date with new technologies and developments in the print and scan market.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders in Sales, Commercial and Purchasing to ensure that communications and relations between the departments are effective and consistent
  • Use internal systems such as QlikView & SAP to track performance and challenge sales where appropriate.
  • Manage bid request process and feedback to PM / Sales
  • Supporting the specialists with any order sales order entry which may be required.
