The Role 

To proactively grow our portfolio of products and develop sales of wide range of technology products into targeted Retail customers, specifically within the Online / Etail & D2C customer base. Increasing our profile and maximising all opportunities within these accounts ensuring achievement of agreed targets.

Manage forecast , stock , sales and promotions working with key stakeholders within the customer, vendors ,and internally to ensure growth aspirations are achieved.



Key Responsibilities



  • Build & manage customer / vendor relationships
  • Effectively manage customer held and internal stock levels
  • Weekly planning of inventory
  • Drive new opportunities and expand range online
  • Focus on increasing drop ship proposition across customer base
  • Achieve company targets in line with specific area 
  • Understand market and technologies
  • Continuously forward plan, forecast/account plans utilising data sourced from your customer and internal intelligence 
  • Understand Exertis value proposition 




Person Specification 



Above all you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent working relationships both internally and with our vendors. You will be a self-starter able to build a plan, gain support and ‘buy in’ for its execution. In order to do this, you will already be able to demonstrate examples of where you have made a real success and delivery from self-made opportunities. You will need a strong sales background and demonstrate sustained KPI achievement, and have the ability to work fast and remained focussed in a high paced and high volume environment.


In addition, you will need to:


  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working with Retail customers desirable but not essential
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with Customers/Vendors and internal employees
  • Possess good IT/ Technology product knowledge ,
  • Be confident, tenacious and accountable
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the distribution model
  • Be willing to challenge the norm and innovate
  • Show commercial awareness
  • Excel in planning & organisation
  • Be flexible and adaptable 
  • Demonstrate high literacy & numeracy
  • Possess Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • SAP knowledge preferable but not essential
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the Group Business Conduct Guidelines.
