We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Consumer sales team working with UK retailers. You will have the ability to take some cool CE and IT brands to market through our partners to help them to grow and prosper and take advantage of new opportunities, while managing our existing lines of business and helping us to grow our market share, build stronger relationships and a better understanding of our customer needs into selected high street retailers.   We are looking for someone who can help us to increase our profile and maximize all profit opportunities within these accounts ensuring achievement of agreed targets. The right person will have the ability to build excellent working relationships both internally and with our partners. We are looking for someone with a friendly open approach and with the passion and determination to succeed.

Your Day-to-Day as an Account Manager
•    Develop and maintain new and current business within the specialist category.
•    Profile and develop an in-depth knowledge of your customers and the profit opportunities
•    Work with other Retail Account Managers to ensure your products sets are built into their sales opportunities
•    Work closely with the Product Managers and Vendors feeding back retail requirements and driving demand.  (Work on securing promotional opportunity and range opportunity within store and online.
•    Create and update price lists
•    Review credit limits
•    Review and manage stock holding with your category
•    Regular customer visits with clear objectives
•    Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.

Role Requirements
•    A friendly outgoing personality
•    The ability to build good relationships
•    A good communicator
•    Demonstrate they are good with literacy & numeracy
•    Possess Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
•    Have I.T distribution experience preferred, not essential
•    Retail Account Management experience preferred, not essential
