Come and join the Pricing function at Exertis where you’ll be part of an exciting FTSE100 technology business operating in an FMCG and B2B environment partnering with household-name brands and customers.

Working for the Head of Pricing you’ll be a key part of our growing Pricing centre of excellence helping to steer the business to better Pricing decisions and be involved in our business transformation project.  The project is moving at pace with a culture of constant testing and learning so you’ll be able to see the impact of your work and how it helps to shape our go to market proposition.

The role is based remotely with an expectation to spend 1-2 days a week in our Basingstoke office depending on the requirements of the projects you’ll be working on.


What you’ll be doing

  • Own the pricing model to increase profitability while ensuring competitive pricing for our customers.
  • Recommend and implement price changes based on data insights encompassing demand fluctuations, stock holding and discounting patterns.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand the latest product and customer trends to feedback into pricing models.
  • Collate, gather and understand opportunities to improve and deliver continuous improvement to our approach to Pricing.
  • Ensure Pricing best practices are being applied in transformation projects
  • Facilitate pricing training for sales and commercial colleagues.
  • Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of stock and price customer electronic feeds.
  • Participating in ad-hoc project work as and when required.
  • Ensure best practice in pricing is applied in projects
  • Collate, gather and understand opportunities to improve, to deliver continuous improvement in how the business approaches Pricing.


About You

You’ll have 3+ years’ experience working in a pricing role preferably with experience working alongside sales and product stakeholders. Familiar with large datasets, with keen analytical skills and SAP experience desirable.  You should also have experience managing projects and working efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive.

Experience of BI tools including excellent Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to a variety of stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a desire to work in cross functional teams in a fun, fast-paced environment and a passion for learning and delivering results.
