The Opportunity

The role of NPD executive has been created to support the delivery of new products to the Britain and International Division. Working with the Head of NPD and the commercial teams; the NPD Executive role will play a vital part in the development of new product ideas, designing new products, sourcing, running clinical trials and providing support to commercialise the products. The role reports to the Head of NPD.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of NPD to develop and deliver the NPD product pipeline of own brand/IP and New Agency Products.
  • Work with the commercial teams and clinical advisors to bring the new products through the development stage gates to market launch.
  • Work with a high performing "virtual team" across sales, commercial, buying, quality, regulatory, marketing and demand planning to support idea generation through to product forecasting and delivery.
  • Contributing to customer research plans to support rationale for product development and positioning within the marketplace.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of our product development strategy.
  • Work with the commercial leaders and Head of NPD to provide guidance and direction to product managers on developing new products and managing the lifecycle of existing products


Experience & profile:

  • Candidates will ideally hold a third-level qualification or have equivalent experience, preferably in Clinical or  Med/Bio Tech sector.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an Project Management or Medical devices role.
  • The role requires a candidate who is capable of working on their own initiative and of managing multiple stakeholders and multiple projects – project management experience would be beneficial.


Other Information:

  • Reports to the Head of NPD, Britain & International
  • Location – Bristol/Gloucestershire area.  The role will facilitate a combination of field-based working, attendance at company sites and homeworking. 
  • Frequent domestic and occasional international travel.
