Clinical Diagnostics Training and Support Role

 

 

TERRITORY:                           Republic of Ireland/Northern Ireland

DEPARTMENT:                      Fannin Scientific (Clinical Diagnostics)

REPORTS TO:                         Fannin Scientific Director

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a motivated professional with a strong focus on training and support within the Clinical Diagnostics/Hospital Sector of Ireland. The role will involve the following:

  • Be proficient in Training and demonstrating Clinical Diagnostic equipment and consumables to a wide range of health professional.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Diagnostics Manager to ensure all training projects are delivered professionally in a timely manner.
  • Ensure effective sales coverage of all Hospitals, Public and Private in Ireland including the Dublin, Cork and Galway areas.
  • Support to the existing Clinical Diagnostic sales team, including activities in training and customer support/development as necessary to meet short term and strategic objectives
  • Keep all documentation up to date including Training competency documents, audit documents and all other relevant documents pertaining to the specific projects the candidate will be involved in.
  • Initiation of technical support or manufacturing support to achieve same objectives
  • Reporting to the Clinical Diagnostic Manager and working closely with the other sales team both internal and external.

 

Qualifications and experience:

 

    • Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a Science or Nursing discipline.
    • Masters not essential but would be beneficial.
    • Ideally 1 year’s training/Support experience in the Clinical Diagnostics/Hospital sector
    • Professional communications skills required
    • Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Ability to work individually and in a team environment where strong flexibility, time management & prioritisation skills will be key
    • Ability to use own initiative and show discretion
    • Flexible approach to working hours during busy periods
