Production Operative

Title: Production Operator

 Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Based at: Langage Science Park, Plymouth

Job purpose: To produce quality components for use in the manufacture of Vacsax finished products. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: • Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders. • Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing. • Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition. • Work under the guidance of Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner. • Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation. • Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety. • Contribute to waste management programs. • Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately. • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace. • All employees are responsible for ensuring company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs. • Be able to make appropriate decisions while following the companies organisational structure. • Maintaining high level of timekeeping is of the essence.
