The Opportunity
The Commercial Director will lead the commercial performance and growth of ISKUS, a €24m business unit within Fannin Medical Devices operating across Wound Care, Patient Hygiene, IV Access, Procedure Kits, Surgical Consumables, Skin Preparation and Oncology.
The role is responsible for delivering growth, developing supplier and distributor partnerships, identifying new business opportunities and leading a high-performing commercial organisation. The successful candidate will build on the strong foundations of an experienced and successful team, combining commercial ambition with strong people leadership and cultural awareness.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the ISKUS growth strategy, delivering sales, margin and profitability targets.
- Lead all commercial activities including hospital sales, key accounts, tenders and distributor management.
- Identify and secure new agency, supplier and portfolio opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers and key healthcare stakeholders.
- Lead, coach and develop the commercial team, creating a culture of accountability and performance.
- Drive commercial excellence through effective forecasting, CRM utilisation and performance management.
- Lead change through engagement and influence, bringing the organisation on the journey while preserving the strengths and culture of the business.
- Contribute to the wider Medical Devices
Experience & profile:
Essential Experience
• Proven senior commercial leadership experience within healthcare, medical devices or hospital supplies.
• Demonstrated success leading hospital sales teams and delivering revenue growth.
• Significant experience in distributor management and supplier relationship development.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish healthcare market, including HSE procurement structures and hospital purchasing processes.
• Experience developing and implementing strategic business plans.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
• Strong digital capability including CRM, analytics and commercial reporting.
