Location:          Ashly Audio, Webster, New York

Hours:              8:00AM – 4:30PM Monday - Friday, Full Time

Department:    Customer Service

Salary:              $22.50 to $25.00 Hour

Responsibilities:

Bench Technician for the Ashly Audio Service Department to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and test analog and digital audio products including power amplifiers. Will be required to certify complete functionality and document findings of all failure repairs.

Qualifications:

·         Must be capable of reading schematic diagrams and troubleshooting circuit board assemblies to the component level.

·         Must be skilled at both surface mount and through-hole component replacement and solder rework.

·         Familiarity with the use of basic test bench equipment, (oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, variacs), is essential.

·         Basic competency of computer skills, (email, data entry, ability to learn proprietary software).

·         Minimum required experience of 2 years.

·         Occasional lifting of up to 60 lbs may be required.

·         AS / AAS (ELT) degree preferred, experience & understanding of audio a plus.
