Job Purpose

The role will report to the Head of New Energies and will be at the forefront of the capture, processing and analysis of data from a wide range of systems for a large and diverse client base across various databases and systems. You will be producing comprehensive reports of findings and presenting required outputs to the Head of New Energies and the Senior Leadership Team to support development of our strategy as we build our brand and capture market share in the energy transition. 
This is a new, cross-divisional role that involves working closely with the Head of New Energies and will play a crucial part in supporting the wider Flogas Britain sales teams and our customers, ensuring a seamless experience when offering multiple technologies to support with our customers’ ambitions to transition to Net Zero. 

The Data Analyst will have responsibility for supporting Flogas and the wider DCC Energy Group in implementing and executing our energy transition strategy, providing direct support to the New Energies team as well as the Commercial, Cylinder and Consumer sales teams, fostering efficient communication, and collaborating with various departments, company acquisitions and our sister company Certas Energy to enhance the overall customer experience.

You will have a pivotal role in the screening and de-duping of data and in identifying opportunities in new markets / target sectors in order to promote sales of New Energies technologies such as Solar PV & Battery systems, Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps, Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems, HVAC, Power Generation and Standby Power Systems.

The position is ideal for a person with exceptional organisational and IT skills, demonstrable flexibility, and an eagerness to contribute to the success of the New Energies agenda.

The role will also ensure we continue to innovate and retain our market-leading position and continue to grow our business, whilst supporting the sustainability agenda and helping our customers transition to a lower carbon future.

•    Able to prioritise work effectively to meet different business requirements
•    Strong interest in learning new database technologies and working with a variety of tools, whilst also being comfortable using advanced Excel skills to analyse across different datasets on different platforms
•    Understanding of good data governance practices and good knowledge of relevant laws and rules concerning data protection

•    Knowledge of reporting tools and an ability to produce reports through extracting data from systems and spreadsheets.
