JOB PURPOSE

Reporting into the Lead Technician, the HIAB driver will be responsible for the safe delivery of our bulk LPG vessels and installations to and from customer sites. In addition, the role will require the driver to assist in the depot to depot distribution of the bulk LPG vessels. it is expected that some nights out will be required as a main part of the role.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Transportation of bulk LPG Vessels to customer sites for installation

• Uplift of tanks from customer sites • Gas transfers using LPG vapor compressor

• Depot to Depot stock transfers
• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as per Operational Procedures
• Completing all necessary paperwork ensuring accuracy standard is maintained
• Be compliant with the drivers hours and tachograph regulations
• Meet Flogas driver performance standards
• Contributing in developing customer base / reporting competitor activity in area
• Some heavy manual handling required

JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENTS

• HGV class 1
• Driver qualification card (DCPC)
• ADR (class 2 gases)
• Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours (incl some nights out)
• Ability to work in a team or on own initiative
