Engineering Business Partner

 

We have a position for a Engineering Business Partner to join our Team.  

 

As Engineering Business Partner you will manage engineering services and programmes within the allocated business units and alignment with senior management teams for strategical planning and delivery of the engineering service.

The Role:

  • Provide competent and comprehensive engineering management and support to senior / regional operations teams within the company
  • Responsible for ensuring assets are in a safe and useable condition throughout the business function
  • Develop and deliver strategical plans for assigned business areas for engineering incorporating business objectives and strategies
  • Develop standards, specifications and application for the business unit assets including maintenance strategy and investment scopes
  • Provide a comprehensive and task based way of working to support senior operations teams and deliver engineering requirements efficiently
  • Provide clear overall strategical inputs to the engineering team for the business units to assist in direction and goals for the engineering team
  • Provide detailed planning for capital expenditure asset programmes and projects requirements to the Head of Engineering for production of the engineering budgets and programmes
  • Undertake review of mechanical, electrical and other engineering assessment and reports and undertake decision making on reactive maintenance and faults requirements for fuel depots
  • Provide and deliver detailed scope and maintenance plans for assets within the business unit
  • Carry out assurance reviews and assessments on key / safety critical assets within the business function
  • Responsible for engineering contractor management throughout the business unit
  • Supervising high risk works and permit to work authority for the business unit

 

What we are looking for:

  • Hold a relevant engineering qualification within either a specific discipline
  • Successful track record and experience in management of engineering within a hazardous industry
  • Hold a H&S qualification or requisite expertise
  • Have experience of Engineering within a high hazardous environment
  • Ability to develop standards and specifications against legislation and industry best practices
