The Opportunity
The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across all functions at DCC Head Office to deliver high - quality IT services that underpin the critical operations of the business . In this capacity, the IT Manager will have direct oversight of our managed service provider, ensuring high standards of service delivery and accountability.


Reporting Lines and Team Structure
This role is based at our Head Office on Leopardstown Road, Foxrock, Dublin 18. The successful candidate will be a core member of the Group IT team. The role will report into the Group IT Business Partner . This role will have a dedicated team of two onsite administrators report ing directly into th e IT Manager, providing further support in managing and enhancing the IT infrastructure for the head office functions .

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day - to- Day IT Operations: Manage and support daily IT activities via the third - party support provider, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems for both in - office and remote users. Act as a key point of escalations that arise from user requests from Head Office and liaise with key vendors to resolve and remediate.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with third - party service providers and technology partners, managing contracts and service level agreements.
  • Azure Administration: Oversee administration, configuration, and optimisation of Azure cloud services, including user management, security, and resource allocation.
  • Networking: Maintain and enhance the company’s networking infrastructure, including VPNs, firewalls, and connectivity solutions for global users.
  • IT Compliance: Ensure all IT practices comply with relevant regulations and company policies; maintain up - to- date documentation and support periodic audits both internally and externally.
  • Treasury Systems: Oversee the support, maintenance, and security of treasury systems and related financial platforms, ensuring reliability and compliance.
  • Strategic IT Planning: Work with senior management to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals. Identify opportunities for technological improvement and innovation.
  • User Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to staff, resolving issues promptly and ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Local Security Officer: Own the local security officer role for DCC head office.

Working Environment
This role is based in DCC’s Head Office in Leopardstown, Dublin 18. Hybrid working arrangements may be considered. The office environment is collaborative, professional, and closely integrated.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and experienced IT Manager with a strong background in Azure, networking, and compliance, and will be comfortable managing both day - to- day IT operations and strategic technology initiatives. They will be responsible for ensuring the key departments have robust, secure, and reliable technology solutions, enabling them to operate efficiently and strategically within a fast - paced, global environment. The following attributes and qualifications are essential for success in the role:

▪ A minimum of five years' experience managing an IT environment and team , ideally within a dynamic
and fast - paced environment.
▪ Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
▪ Professional certifications in Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, ITIL.
▪ Hands - on expertise with Microsoft O365 and Azure.
▪ Strong infrastructure and networking skills.
▪ Solid understanding of IT compliance and regulatory frameworks.
▪ Excellent problem - solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
▪ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
▪ Experience supporting and securing treasury or financial systems is highly desirable.
▪ Experience in D365 F&O and Okta is highly desirable.
