Principle Objectives of Role
Accountable for reconciling and managing bank accounts and transactions across the fuel card operations for Norway. Overseeing and reconciling card and customer transactions, as well as related clearing transactions throughout the business. Assisting in the development and execution of streamlined processes within the organization. Key duties include, but are not limited to, the following
Key Areas of Accountability
Bank Reconciliation/Accounting
Daily monitoring of the bank accounts to ensure that all transactions have been captured in SAP.
Processing customer receipts to ensure that all receipts are processed correctly.
Ensuring non automatically posted customer receipts are correctly allocated in a timely manner.
Update KID for non-conforming direct debit items with SAP team.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and clearing accounts.
Liaise directly with the Norway Fuel Card team on unreconciled items.
Actively ensure compliance with all banking controls.
Fuel Card Reconciliations
Verification of fuel card credits from merchant services provider.
Ensure prompt clearing of all key reconciliation accounts relating to fuel card transactions.
Bank Account Funding/Payments
Complete intercompany transfers to fund accounts when required.
Ensure funds in place to cover daily direct debits and payroll.
General
Endeavour to switch the current bank account structure to DCC’s core banks where possible.
To be a key member of a high performing Finance team.
Support the Banking Manager on ad-hoc projects as and when required.
Interact with internal/external parties including customers, auditors and DCC Group Compliance teams.
Perform role in line with all DCC Group HSE and other corporate policies. JOB TITLE: Banking & Ledger Specialist

LOCATION: Drogheda, Co. Louth / Hybrid Working
Cross train with other members of the Banking team to ensure adequate holiday/leave cover is maintained and that all key team tasks are completed as per schedule.
During implementation will have to work closely with the Project team.
Qualifications / Experience
Part-qualified Accountant/similar.
At least 3/4 years’ experience in a fast-paced environment.
Good knowledge of different online banking platforms.
Advanced knowledge of SAP an advantage.
Strong project management skills
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
