How you’ll power our business as a Technical Installations Manager 

 

As a Technical Installations Manager, you will report directly to the National Projects Installations Manager and will share overall responsibility for the co-ordination of Flogas Technical Engineering Projects and Central Storage Projects with the Technical Engineering Project team. You will give planning and technical installation support to the manager at Horncastle with regards to Flogas Central Storage and Technical Engineering Projects. You will provide technical expertise to the business to ensure that Technical Engineering Projects and Central Storage Projects have the correct design for operation & commissioning for LTHW systems, pipelines systems, PRS units within installation projects.

Here’s what you’ll be doing 

 

  • Link Between the Technical engineering projects team, Knowsley and Horncastle Technical Services.  

  • Providing guidance, and assistance to all the installation teams and Flogas related departments. 

  • Responsible for LTHW solution systems, Large Diameter PE installations, and downstream above ground large diameter steel pipe work installations and PRS units.   

  • Support Resource Planning with Technical Services. 

  • Equipment Specifications for Technical Engineering Projects and large Central Storage Installation.  

  • Flogas Internal Costings for Technical Engineering Projects and Large Central Storage Installations 

 

What we’ll need from you 

 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a commercial mechanical engineering related role preferably time served. 

  • Minimum of 10 years continuous ACS qualified in commercial aspects, pipe work installations, pipe work pressure testing and boiler plant, Nat Gas, LPG   

  • Design experience in C/W & LTHW Systems and gas service/ installation pipe work.    

  • Technically aware of all safety studies, e.g. HAZOP, 

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to achieve results through diverse cross-functional teams  

  • Persuasive and personable communication skills with all levels of the organization 

  • Self-motivated and good organizational skills to be enable planning, execution and implementation in a timely manner in a highly autonomous role 

  • Technically aware of CDM & site Health & Safety
