How you’ll power our business as a Credit Control Team Leader 

 

As a Credit Control Team Leader, you will manage a team of credit controllers responsible for collecting overdue debt in a professional and timely manager from both commercial and consumer customers.  
 
Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. What we’ll need from you 

 

  • Credit Control – debt chasing experience is essential to this role 

  • Excellent customer service, time management and telephone skills  

  • Experience of dealing with a high volume of customer accounts and associated call volume  

  • Numerate 

  • Strong negotiator and query resolution ability 

  • Ability to make decisions within designated agreed levels of authority 

  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word & Excel  

  • Account reconciliation  

  • Excellent time management and ability to work to specific deadlines is a pre-requisite 

  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word & Excel 

  • Ledger management of customer accounts 

  • Knowledge of debt collection techniques  

  • Communicates influentially  

  • Strong customer service skills (written and verbal)
