Job Purpose

  • To fundamentally support sales of key Pro AV vendors, services and associated peripherals with channel partners for Exertis.
  • Enable sales and technical capabilities across the Exertis sales teams
  • Accelerate sales capacity and capability with channel partners
  • Deliver presales engagement on opportunities
  • Sales of chargeable professional services and consultancy
  • Be a vital connection point for a variety of sales resources; Exertis, vendors & channel partners
  • Support in the development and execution of the solutions strategy around video collaboration and solutions.

 

Your Day-to-Day

  • Reporting to the Head of AV Solutions on all business reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with the Head of AV Solutions to deliver objectives and KPIs in line with Solutions business unit strategy and growth ambitions.
  • Be the subject matter expert for video collaboration solutions, maintain high level of knowledge and understanding of relevant products and solutions in the AV/UC&C marketplace.
  • Execute and achieve targets in an intense, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Supporting resellers in the engagement at end user level on delivering solutions, fit for the requirement
  • Deliver effective sales enablement activities as necessary to build the skills and expertise of partners.
  • Attending key partner events and training sessions
  • Working in conjunction with our Sales and Commercial teams on strategic alignment
  • Business development by identifying cross and up-selling opportunity within key channels and customer portfolios
  • Build strong relationships with the Exertis Sales & Commercial Teams across both channel, reseller and end user.

 

Role Specific Competencies.

Professional Experience

  • 3-5 years of related sales or technical experience required, with preference to video communication, collaboration & AV and demonstrated ability to scale through partner sales in a partner led or partner co-sell motion
  • Experience in Pro AV, UC&C solution selling
  • Experience in Pre-Sales, technical engagement and consultancy.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills in management conversations, presentations, and email
  • Demonstrate continuous learning, intellectual curiosity, and improvement in professional impact on a daily basis.
  • Technical breadth. Experience with latest video collaboration, unified comms solutions, products and services.
