Role Title: Product Manager – Smart Tech & Core Electricals

Location: Basingstoke or Harlow (fortnightly travel required)


We are seeking a Smart Tech & Core Electricals Product Manager who will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, defining the product vision, and working closely with sales, marketing, to support to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction goals are met. It will be imperative for the successful candidate to forge close working alliances with a number of key personnel across Exertis as well as our suppliers to ensure that all aspects of our Smart Tech business offering is aligned and performing to budget.


Your Day-to-Day

  • Understand the full Smart Tech & Core Electricals product range and brand options available.
  • Introduce new Smart Tech & Core Electricals products and training to the sales teams.
  • Build promotional activity, and messaging, to ensure correct product focus within sales.
  • Liaise with Marketing about the core positioning and messaging for products.
  • Develop and maintain sales and stock management tools.
  • Create and maintain internal part numbers for new products / product / price changes as required.
  • Complete weekly stock and PO checks across the Smart Tech products and input into relevant tracker.
  • Work with relevant departments to maintain healthy stock coverage, raise PO’s and manage customer forecasts.
  • Produce weekly report on aged stock.
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct
