Reporting directly to the General Manager – Whitebox & OEM, the primary function of the ‘Business Development Manager’ is to drive incremental growth of Whitebox product sales across all regions and offices.

This is a commission based position, measured on performance against financial targets and individual Key Performance Indicators, with a heavy focus on incremental business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a highly-motivated individual, with outstanding communication/negation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at senior level, you will;

  • Build and execute business plans with channel partners to deliver growth in-line with the overall enterprise business strategy
  • Build and maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts
  • Provide end to end management of large-scale solution opportunities; from identification through to close.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams and vendor partners to identify and build strategic relationships within existing accounts and prospects
  • Deliver high-level product and market training to internal and partner sales teams, aligned with overall business focus, and become a ‘trusted advisor’.
  • Drive net new account acquisition, contributing to overall growth of Whitebox / OEM server revenue and GP in UK and EMEA
  • Utilise strong technical and commercial awareness, with a ‘value-add’ approach to maximise profitability in complex, multi-vendor solution proposals.
  • Build and develop relationships with key vendor partners such as intel, AMD, Supermirco, Gigabyte and Nvidia


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in an external sales environment
  • Experience selling OEM/ODM server, storage or networking technologies
  • Knowledge of Cloud, HPC or AI/edge computing solutions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to prepare / deliver complex RFP / RFI responses
