Job Title: Marketing Manager

 

Location: SP Services, Bastion House, Telford

 

Department: Sales & Marketing Team

 

Report to: Head of Sales & Marketing

 

 

Main Purpose of the Job

 

  • To plan, create, develop, campaigns, content, literature and marketing collateral based on consumer insights, customer feedback, product and market knowledge.

 

  • Ensure a coherent and consistent rolling 12 month marketing plan is compiled, shared and executed covering all elements of company strategy and product strategy within a predefined and agreed budget – providing internal customers insights into ROI details and lessons learnt

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

 

  1. Customer Insights:
    1. For key strategic customer segments, undertake customer insights work that will drive marketing campaigns, product and service propositions and differentiate us from SP Services competitive set.

 

  1. Manage SP Service’s digital footprint including:

 

    1. Effective management of the Company’s website – Managing product and generic content to increase conversion rates, reduce abandon baskets, improve customer journey and profitably increase revenues – both organically and through paid channels

 

    1. Proactive management of the company’s social media presence, including coordination of a content calendar in line with overmarketing plan, creating content and managing engagement.

 

    1. Effective management and coordination of SP Service’s email marketing strategy, in line with overall marketing calendar and company strategy

 

  1. Completion, execution, and evolution of a coherent and executable 12th mth rolling marketing campaign calendar, that reflects the company’s key growth strategies and is planned and executed within a pre-defined budget. Ensuring all key internal and external stakeholders are included and that all activity is briefed and launched effectively. Then reported on comprehensively, with ROI and lessons learnt documented effectively and acted upon efficiently.

  1. Oversee & champion the implementation and standardisation of the SP Services Brand Values and Guidelines to ensure a consistent roll out across the business, including, but not exclusively:

 

4.1. Print and web production

 

4.2. Artwork guidelines

 

4.3. Tone of voice

 

  1. Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in a appropriate training and development activities.

 

  1. Cooperate with the company on health and safety matters and comply with the company health and safety policy and procedures.

 

  1. Cooperate with the company on quality matters and comply with the company quality policy and procedures to promote a culture of customer service excellence within the company.

 

  1. Carry out any other related duties, within reason, as requested by management.
