Customer Service Administrator (International)

DCC Vital markets and sells a broad range of own- and third-party medical device and pharmaceutical products in UK, Ireland and Germany. This role sits within the Britain & International division of DCC Vital. Britain & International is a market leader in the UK for medical device products in laparoscopic, theatre consumables and anaesthesia therapy areas. Our main International product portfolios focus on Endoscopic Essentials (www.espinermedical.com) and Theatre Essentials (www.vacsax.co.uk ) product portfolios. 

 

The Opportunity

Our international division is expanding and we’re looking for a dedicated customer service administrator to support our international Espiner customers. The role is based in our Stroud office and will sit alongside and have opportunity to learn from our well-established UK customer services team. The successful candidate must be able to think on their feet and ensure the International division and customers are given steadfast support. This role will also include providing business support to the divisional management team.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service for our International customers
  • Receive, acknowledge and process orders via SAP
  • Work closely with the International team to support customer orders and forecasts
  • Provide high level customer service to customers over phone and email
  • Invoicing in conjunction with Finance team
  • Generation of export documentation to support shipments from our warehouse facility
  • Organising of product shipments and liaising with freight companies to ensure correct product alignment for designated countries.
  • Integral part of stock transfers from Espiner to Measham and also product within Skintact warehouse to Espiner warehouse at Measham
  • Coordination of customer organised pick-up
  • Provide customer updates where necessary
  • Dealing with customer complaints
  • First point of contact for orders & queries

 

  • Other administration will include;
    • Coordination and follow-up of samples
    • Business support for the management team, including but not limited to booking travel
    • Other ad-hoc duties as required

 

 

Experience & profile:

  • Experience of using SAP system is preferable, however the full training will be given to the right candidate
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable
  • A 2nd language would be advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage but not essential.
