How you'll power our business as an IT Business Partner – Certas Energy Solutions
Reporting to the IT Director – Digital Services, Change and Partnering, the IT Business Partner for Certas Energy Solutions is a strategically important relationship role that sits at the heart of a rapidly growing business focused on helping customers navigate the energy transition. You will serve as the primary interface between the IT function and the Certas Energy Solutions leadership team, translating commercial objectives, customer requirements, and operational challenges into technology investments and solutions that deliver measurable value.
This is a high-profile role that requires both the strategic credibility to influence senior leaders and the technical understanding to engage effectively with IT delivery teams, ensuring technology enables growth, innovation, and exceptional customer outcomes.

Here's what you'll be doing
- Serve as the trusted, single point of contact for the Certas Energy Solutions leadership team on all IT strategy, digital transformation, and technology investment matters.
- Identify, capture, and qualify all IT demand arising from Certas Energy Solutions, ensuring requests are clearly articulated, commercially justified, and prioritised in line with business objectives and customer value.
- Develop and maintain the Certas Energy Solutions IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with business growth plans and the wider DCC Energy GB IT strategy.
- Act as the business-side or IT sponsor for key technology and digital transformation programmes, ensuring clear accountability, stakeholder engagement, and successful delivery.
- Monitor the performance of IT services supporting Certas Energy Solutions, acting as the senior escalation point for service-related issues and driving continuous improvement.
- Support new business opportunities, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives by providing IT due diligence, onboarding support, and integration planning as required.
- Champion innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, automation, data, and digital solutions to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
